Assists Architect's in drawing up specifications on doors and hardware for new building projects in both 2D and 3D BIM Environment (Revit).
Communicate with Consultant, Interior Designer, Architect & understand their requirement from the concept / design stage of the project, understands their requirement on BIM and gives them the full support with the collaboration of Openings studio.
Prepares door hardware specifications based on interpretations of architects building & design plans.
Takes ownership of technical issues and provides a comprehensive support to the internal consultants.
Works on Project Floor Plans for Door Scheduling, Hardware Scheduling, Technical catalogue sheet for the items proposed.
Works on Industry Standard Ironmongery requirements.
Prepares accurate and timely reports.
Composes detailed master key schedule for any project, including high security restricted profiles and access control.
Develops BIM Content for Doors and other components from design details Evolving with the development of the Strategy.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-3 Years experience in Doors Hardware (BS EN & ANSI Standards), with preference for candidates experienced in Doors.
Strong attention to detail and ability to read architectural plans and specifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD, BIM, or specification software is a plus
Eagerness to learn and grow within a global, collaborative environment
