Senior Legal Specialist – Card Litigation

Role Overview

• Assist in managing defensive litigation for the Card Litigation portfolio
• Review and analyze defensive litigation matters
• Analyze complaints, motions, discovery, and disputes
• Perform research to gather internal documents
• Maintain litigation case files
• Support internal and external legal counsel
• Manage interactions with external counsel
• Work a high volume caseload and meet litigation deadlines
• Improve existing business practices and procedures
• Support team with monthly reporting responsibilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 2 years of experience in a paralegal role
• 3+ years of paralegal experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience managing external legal counsel preferred
• 2+ years of experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of consumer finance laws, collection laws and regulations
