Role Overview
- Serves as the deep database technology advisor for strategic database work
- Develops, implements and maintains the database system
- Leads database design and engineering for new applications
- Partners with enterprise architecture and solution architecture teams
- Evaluates database technologies and recommends adoption strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Eight years of related experience or equivalent
- Three or more years of hands-on database administration
- Experience with enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Progress OpenEdge, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Snowflake, SAP HANA, or similar technologies preferred
- Experience supporting database modernization, cloud migration, platform transformation
