Perform general labor duties throughout the plant, including general cleanup duties such as sweeping, shoveling, power washing, painting, scraping, jackhammering, and soda blasting.
Keep all work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal and the cleanup of material spills.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks including lubrication of pumps, valves, and loading arms.
Inspect in-use equipment looking for seeps and leaks of process equipment.
Document and accurately measure the movement of petroleum products through the terminal.
Load and unload asphalt trucks and unload asphalt rail cars.
Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
Carry a valid driver’s license.
2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience in mechanical and/or electrical fields
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins and work to heights of 55 feet.
Able to wear required protective equipment including respirators.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen; physical; and background check.
