Role Overview
- Perform general labor duties throughout the plant, including general cleanup duties such as sweeping, shoveling, power washing, painting, scraping, jackhammering, and soda blasting.
- Keep all work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
- Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal and the cleanup of material spills.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks including lubrication of pumps, valves, and loading arms.
- Inspect in-use equipment looking for seeps and leaks of process equipment.
- Document and accurately measure the movement of petroleum products through the terminal.
- Load and unload asphalt trucks and unload asphalt rail cars.
- Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- Carry a valid driver’s license.
- 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in mechanical and/or electrical fields
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins and work to heights of 55 feet.
- Able to wear required protective equipment including respirators.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen; physical; and background check.
