Senior Back-end Developer

Role Overview

• Design and evolve the architecture of high-scale APIs and microservices in .NET.
• Make technical decisions regarding persistence (SQL Server and MongoDB), messaging, and integration patterns.
• Define and promote best practices in Clean Code, SOLID, and software design.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical support to junior and mid-level developers, sharing knowledge day-to-day.
• Ensure resilience, observability, and performance of cloud services (Azure and AWS), with instrumentation and monitoring via Datadog.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead and Tech Lead on the team's technical evolution, without formal people management responsibilities.
• Establish asynchronous messaging strategies with RabbitMQ, Service Bus and Kafka.
• Work with product and architecture teams to define long-term technical solutions.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Software Architecture and Engineering
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Clean Code, SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Event-Driven Architecture
• Resilience patterns
• Extensive experience in C# and .NET applied to large-scale production systems.
• Use of AI tools in development (e.g., Copilot, Claude), with critical judgment of generated code.
• Strong modeling and optimization skills in SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Proven experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Service Bus and/or Kafka).
• Hands-on experience with cloud architecture on Azure and AWS.

• Strong practice of version control (Git), CI/CD and DevOps culture.
• Proficiency in application monitoring and observability, preferably with Datadog.
