Create technical configurations and prototypes to validate feasibility, scope, and gameplay quality
Implement, support and optimize design iterations throughout development
Support scripted implementation of game content in collaboration with the Level Design team
Configure and support custom events and unique gameplay moments
Ensure integration of gameplay systems (AI/encounters, interactions, progression, camera, cinematics) within game content and validate their behavior in scripted content contexts
Identify dependencies between teams, systems, assets and resources required for delivery; report risks and align needs upfront
Adapt the level of polish of work according to the production phase and expected quality level
Leverage QA feedback and playtests; contribute to debugging and performance optimization of content presented in reviews or playtests
Use and evolve engine tools, existing editor tools and WB’s proprietary tools; contribute to pipeline improvements
Collaborate closely with Level Design, Game Design and programming teams; attend departmental meetings and provide mentorship in visual scripting when required

Five years of experience or more in game or level design with an emphasis on technical aspects
Relevant experience in AAA, ideally action-adventure, open world and narrative
Good understanding of 3D engines and visual scripting; experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprints is a major plus
Proficient in prototyping, debugging, iteration and optimization (Blueprint review, profiling, World Partition)
Able to prioritize and adjust the quality level of deliverables according to production context
Able to map dependencies and constraints across disciplines
Knowledge of Behavior Trees, EQS, interaction systems, gameplay cameras and integration between cinematics and gameplay is an asset
Experience with Maya is a major plus
Ability to read C++ code and experience in programming are assets but not required
Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills
