Take responsibility and ownership of the Houzz SEO and AEO strategy across all geos (14 sites total)
Implement a white hat AEO/GEO strategy involving content marketing, reputation management, digital PR, and PMM
Manage an offsite SEO strategy that positions Houzz as a best in class SaaS product, partnering closely with the global PR team
Act as the SEO product manager and implement customer facing changes on both the B2B and Consumer verticals; own all steps of your projects
Manage SEO engineering sprints, and partner with other Product Managers to lead SEO/AEO driven initiatives on other pagetypes
Identify areas of SEO opportunity in site structure, on-page optimization, and keyword tracking
Conduct keyword research and competitor research
Monitor and report on rankings, traffic, and conversion performance and communicate proactively with leadership
Write copy or edit existing copy to improve SEO/AEO performance
Continually expand your knowledge of SEO/AEO and mentor the team
Requirements
At least 10 years of in house SEO experience, with 5+ years of team leadership experience
At least 5 years of SEO Product Management experience working with engineers in an agile setting
At least 5 years of SEO experience on a large multi million URL site
At least 5 years of experience with B2B SaaS or Content Marketing SEO
Experience creating SEO performance forecasts
Deep experience with SEO best practices: you should know how to optimize a page and understand how to make a page rank well, including on and off page signals
Experience working with C-Level leadership
Ability to write/edit user-focused SEO copy & articles
