About this role
Role Overview
Run and review SAP reports every morning to monitor production activities, material movements, and order status.
Update and maintain production attainment daily to ensure accurate visibility of current production priorities.
Monitor production progress and communicate schedule changes, delays, or risks to the Planning Manager and Operations team.
Support production execution to ensure customer orders are completed according to schedule.
Create and maintain project-specific tracking for Operations and Inventory teams.
Provide regular status updates on production orders, shortages, and project completion.
Maintain accurate production records and performance metrics.
Review the Cardboard Material List daily.
Verify material availability for upcoming production requirements.
Coordinate with Purchasing and Inventory teams to obtain material availability dates and estimated arrival times for shortages.
Communicate material constraints that may impact production schedules.
Track and document material spoilage and production losses.
Update spoilage records and tracking spreadsheets daily.
Prepare and submit spoilage reports to designated stakeholders upon completion.
Monitor daily deliveries and shipment statuses for both Dallas and Monterrey operations.
Communicate delivery issues, delays, and transportation concerns to appropriate teams.
Assist in ensuring customer delivery commitments are met.
Support Capture and distribute Master Capacity screenshots every week.
Assist the Purchasing team with the creation of purchase orders as needed to support production continuity.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of required materials.
Work closely with Planning, Production, Operations, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Logistics teams.
Requirements
Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Equivalent work experience may be considered.
2+ years of experience in production coordination, production planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain support.
Experience in a make-to-order manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production tracking tools.
Ability to analyze production and inventory data.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
