Role Overview
- Define, own and deliver the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP)
- Oversee the technical end-to-end modelling and creation of long-term demand and supply plans
- Supervise department personnel and manage the O&M budget
- Mentor and provide training to direct reports
- Partner with Finance, Transmission and Gas Planning
- Provide and support required testimony in regulatory filings
- Respond to Data Requests as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance or a related field
- 10+ years experience in the electric utility, gas utility or a related industry
- Extensive experience with load forecasting, generation resource and capacity planning, and scenario planning
- Ability to perform duties effectively under normal, emergency, and contingency situations
- Knowledge of regulatory processes, rates, tariffs, State and Federal regulations, and gas operations
- Financially competent in the areas of general accounting, levelized cost of energy, net present value analysis
