Integration Engineer – Epic Integration Specialist

Role Overview

• Design, develop, and maintain deep integrations specifically with Epic EHR systems
• Implement and optimize HL7, FHIR, and Epic-specific APIs
• Manage Epic Vendor Services
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams
• Build and manage APIs, Epic Interconnect, and middleware
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues
• Monitor and improve the scalability of existing Epic and multi-EHR integrations
• Ensure strict compliance with healthcare data privacy and security regulations
• Document technical specifications and integration workflows
• Apply data engineering principles to design and implement ETL pipelines

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in healthcare system integrations
• Deep expertise in .NET (C#)
• Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7/FHIR)
• Hands-on experience with AWS-hosted environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer)
