Support engagement management to deliver high-quality sustainability assurance, audit support, and advisory engagements across all industries
Act as ‘Engagement Assistant Manager', taking ownership for agreed aspects of engagement delivery, quality management, budgetary control and client communications
Actively participate in learning and development opportunities to build expertise in sustainability regulations, frameworks, and related methodologies
Support engagement leadership with project management of a portfolio of engagements and internal ad-hoc tasks such as budgeting, business development, thought leadership and preparing materials for client workshops
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant with audit and assurance experience
Ability to lead the delivery of assurance files from planning to conclude phases
Desire to lead and coach a high performing team covering a range of sustainability matters
Demonstrate ability to support the delivery of assurance engagements under ISAE 3000 standard or similar
Advanced analytical skills, capable of challenging and interpreting non-financial ESG data
Manage engagement economics, including budgets and resource allocation tools (DayShape, Swift)
Hands on GHG emissions experience especially relating to calculations and areas of judgement
Understand all spectrums of sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance topics
Understand sustainability reporting frameworks and standards e.g. CSRD, NFRD, UK SRS, ISSB, TCFD, SECR, CFD, GRI, UN SDG, UN PRI, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, GHG Protocol Guidance, etc.
Experience assessing the impact of climate change risks
