Create high-quality 3D game assets from blockout to final in-engine implementation
Model, sculpt, unwrap, bake, and texture a wide variety of assets, including props, set dressing, and environment pieces
Work within established art direction, technical budgets, and production pipelines to deliver visually strong and performant content
Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Leads, Designers, Technical Artists, and other disciplines to ensure assets meet gameplay and technical requirements
Optimize assets, materials, and scene content for performance within Unreal Engine 5
Reuse and adapt existing assets, textures, and materials efficiently to support content production
Participate in art reviews, respond positively to feedback, and help maintain a high visual standard across the project
Troubleshoot asset issues in engine and support polish and bug fixing as needed
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of workflows, documentation, and production practices
Requirements
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D art for games
Proficiency in 3D modeling packages such as Maya, Blender, or equivalent
Experience with sculpting tools such as ZBrush or 3D-Coat
Strong understanding of UV layout, map baking, and PBR texturing workflows
Experience using Substance Painter and creating game-ready materials and textures
Experience implementing and polishing assets in Unreal Engine 5
Experience with hard surface modeling
Solid understanding of optimization, texel density, modular workflows, and game engine limitations
Ability to create visually appealing assets while working within technical constraints
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to development
Ability to take direction, absorb feedback, and iterate quickly
