Senior Meter Technician

Role Overview

• Under general supervision, perform technical work and related activities associated with the planning, engineering, design, analysis, research, development, testing, construction, maintenance and operation of Company equipment and facilities.
• Assists in resolving conflict, builds consensus; also assists in developing and presenting technical reports clearly, concisely, and effectively.
• Provides input in areas that affect the work of the team.
• Demonstrates the ability to understand and perform technical functions required in relevant area of assignment.
• Assists in preparing cost estimates for non-routine work, i.e., special projects as assigned.
• Repairs electronic instruments, controls, and equipment in a cost efficient manner.
• Tests, maintains, and operates all types of metering equipment and related test equipment.

Requirements

• Must have a two year associate degree in electrical/electronic technology.
• None expected for this level of progression.
• Possess a valid state driver license.
• Must have safe work habits and adhere to all safety rules and practices of the Company.
• Acceptable written and verbal communications skills.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required by job responsibilities.
