Responsible for the availability, performance, and operational integrity of Immense Studio's game platform and production infrastructure
Own the reliability, availability, and performance of Immense Studio's game platform across all environments
Establish and monitor service level objectives (SLOs) and key reliability metrics
Maintain rigorous oversight of platform health through proactive log analysis, database monitoring, and environment management
Lead incident response for platform and production issues
Own and evolve the studio's CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Drive the adoption of infrastructure-as-code practices
Manage integrations with casino operators, aggregation platforms, and third-party Remote Game Servers (RGS)
Plan and execute platform upgrades and framework improvements
Lead, develop, and grow the SRE function within Immense Studio
Conduct resource planning to ensure the team has the capacity and skills to meet studio delivery goals
Act as a technical escalation point and coach for engineers
Work closely with backend developers, game engineers, QA, and the mathematics team

Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience
Strong proficiency in Python and solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database management
Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tooling
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop people and build a high-performing technical function
Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal; comfortable engaging with both technical teams and external partners
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, system observability, and monitoring best practices
Hands-on experience with Linux-based infrastructure, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-based environments
Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering role, with at least some leadership or management responsibility
