Junior Heat Network Engineer

Role Overview

• Supporting the delivery of consultancy services across a portfolio of heat network projects
• Involvement in technical analysis, modelling, reporting, and client engagement activities
• Contribute to a wide variety of projects including new heat network developments, optimisation of existing systems, and decarbonisation strategies
• Liaising with clients on day-to-day project activities
• Producing draft technical reports, design outputs, and supporting documentation
• Supporting the development and maintenance of models, tools, and templates
• Assisting with site visits and surveys under guidance from senior engineers
• Managing elements of funding applications and general project administration

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ direct experience in relevant engineering heat network role
• A degree in Mechanical, Building Services, Energy Engineering, or a similar discipline
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word
• Ability to interpret schematics and engineering drawings
• Experience with AutoCAD, referable but not required
