About this role

Manage the daily operations of the accounting and reporting functions
Ensure completion of all internal and external financial statements
Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations
Review and approve internal/external payment requests
Evaluate and make recommendations to internal accounting processes
Maintain necessary internal controls for related entities
Lead the audit and ensure compliance with audit and reporting functions
Research existing and new legislation and changes in financial accounting standards
Identify and oversee accounting requirements for new programs or changes
Ensure on-time filing of all internal and external financial reports
Responsible for management of departmental staff

Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent work experience required
Business related post-graduate degree is preferred
Six (6) years of related experience in accounting/finance is required
Previous management experience is preferred
Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred
Previous experience in a large ERP system is preferred
