Role Overview
- Drive profitable growth by developing innovative, market-relevant strategies to increase market share or create new markets.
- Identify and seize strategic opportunities with our key clients while developing new opportunities within your portfolio.
- Ensure growth of strategic accounts by creating annual account plans for the accounts under your responsibility and executing strategies to generate new sales.
- Participate in the oversight and governance of all sold engagements and those in delivery.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on business development strategies and industry dynamics.
- Collaborate with Delivery Directors and Consulting Services Directors to maximize the potential of our established clients and partners.
- Lead the preparation of the sales budget in collaboration with the existing team, aligning commercial objectives with the organization’s strategic priorities.
- Actively contribute to drafting proposals to clients and to negotiating agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, technology, or another field relevant to the business sector.
- Minimum of 12 years of significant experience in management or technology consulting, with proven experience managing complex mandates and projects and a strong track record in business development.
- Deep knowledge of the insurance sector, with the ability to anticipate trends and propose strategic solutions tailored to changing market needs.
- Excellent network of contacts in the insurance sector, including clients, vendors and partners, ideally across both Quebec and Ontario.
- Strong understanding of the insurance market structure, including expertise in products, key players, technologies, market dynamics and regulatory issues affecting the sector.
- Demonstrated strategic influence and negotiation skills, combined with advanced expertise in analyzing client needs and developing high-impact commercial proposals.
- Ability to gain a deep understanding of our products, competitors in the sector and our market positioning.
