Role Overview
- Responsible for day-to-day tasks in the whole blood donor center process
- Processing blood donor through registration and donor suitability verification
- Performs cleaning and disinfection tasks
- Performs quality control on equipment utilized in the donor screening process
- Determines donor suitability through various screening requirements
- Prepares donor for phlebotomy and performs venipuncture
- Packs blood and components for daily shipments
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to understand and follow SOP’s and protocols
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in speaking and writing English
- Must be able to work flexible schedules
