Role Overview
- Evaluation and treatment of impairments including areas of speech and language
- Addressing cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans
- Work one-on-one with patients in their homes and communities
Requirements
- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
- Experience in treatment of neurologically related disorders preferred
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Ability to communicate with families and professionals
