Role Overview
Ensure compliance with District contracts, including the requirements of the SCA
Perform accounts payable tasks such as entering invoices and verifying payments
Conduct financial compliance reviews for TCP service providers
Review payroll data for appropriate wage determination
Communicate updates to the budget team regarding SCA requirements
Manage the monthly rental processing and payments
Oversee expenditure compliance with grant and program budgets
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting
Minimum three years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
CPA preferred
Experience with federal contracts, SCA, and familiarity with Uniform guidance regulations required
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Advanced computer literacy and expertise with software used in a typical office environment, e.g., Microsoft suite of office products, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint to create and maintain reports and logs
Advanced understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Experience in conducting payroll in a government contracting environment
Working knowledge of the SCA, including wage rates, fringe benefits, etc.
Strong data entry and general math skills
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
