About this role
Role Overview
- Inspect relevant product post-production to ensure appropriate quality levels have been achieved according to individual customer requirements and to provide accurate documentation of results
- Inspect / measure / leak test / general lab test pre-production developments of components to ensure suitability for production
- Perform general QA duties including Shadowgraph measurements, extensive computer data entry/retrieval, weight and capacity analysis, sample collecting and evaluation
- Provide Quality training for all production departments
- Help maintain First Aid stocks across the site, supporting the health and safety team
Requirements
- Proven experience in a production area to be able to identify the range of faults and attain the necessary background knowledge of the processes
- The ability to work on one's own initiative to achieve objectives and taking accountability for work/actions undertaken
- Good computer literacy skills in Word and Excel
- Confident in challenging existing practices and looking for continuous improvement in all areas of work
- The ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner, verbally and in writing, and at all levels within the Company
- Driving licence as visits to customers/suppliers may occasionally be required
