Role Overview
- Responsible for blood and blood culture collection
- Perform venipunctures and skin punctures competently
- Properly label all specimens in the presence of the patient
- Operate basic laboratory equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, report distribution, processing, and faxing
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) preferred
- Six (6) months of phlebotomy experience
