Role Overview
- Perform regular preventative and unscheduled/emergency maintenance on a variety of equipment
- Keep equipment parts inventory list and order replacement parts as necessary
- Detect and notify management of questionable conditions and/or equipment not working properly
- Work with outside vendors as necessary
- Perform maintenance of building and grounds as directed
- Perform all duties in compliance with USDA or FDA, OSHA and state and local regulations
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 5 + years’ manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of machine repair, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting and janitorial skills
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
- Ability to comprehend verbal instructions and read and interpret machine specs
