About this role
Role Overview
Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support growth and operational goals
Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, and scenario analysis
Develop and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into financial and operational performance
Translate financial data into actionable insights that guide business decisions
Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting capabilities, and strategic planning processes
Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, cash management, and financial analysis functions
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards
Manage financial processes that support efficiency, scalability, and business growth
Oversee financial statements, cash flow reporting, and performance analysis
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational effectiveness
Support evaluation of strategic growth opportunities, including acquisitions, investments, and expansion initiatives
Lead financial analysis, due diligence, modeling, and integration planning for potential transactions
Partner with leadership on capital allocation decisions and investment strategies
Manage relationships with financial partners, lenders, and external stakeholders
Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and reporting standards
Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions
Build and lead a high-performing finance organization focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Establish clear goals, expectations, and development opportunities for finance team members
Foster strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization
Oversee financial systems, reporting tools, and technology initiatives
Identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency
Support enhancements to financial systems, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required
MBA, Master's degree, CPA, and/or CFA preferred
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
3+ years in a senior finance leadership role such as CFO, VP Finance, or similar executive position
Experience leading FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or other major growth initiatives
Experience managing complex, fast-growing organizations
Experience within a private equity-backed or investor-supported environment preferred
