Support the planning, execution and completion of external audit engagements under the guidance of experienced team members.
Review financial information, test transactions, inspect supporting documents and perform audit procedures in line with the planned audit approach.
Prepare clear, accurate and timely audit working papers that support the work performed and conclusions reached.
Use audit technology and data analysis tools to support testing, identify trends and highlight unusual relationships or exceptions.
Communicate potential audit issues, control observations or unusual findings to senior team members for review and discussion.
Keep informed of changes in accounting and auditing guidance and understand how they may impact audit procedures and client work.
Demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, professional scepticism and a strong commitment to audit quality in all work performed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or similar fields.
A clear commitment to pursuing a professional qualification and building a long-term career in audit, accounting or finance, supported by a sound understanding of financial accounting and audit fundamentals.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ICAM will be an added advantage.
