Coordinate care for the surgical case, the surgeon, nurses, and other team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff
Ensure availability of appropriate instrumentation, supplies, and equipment for assigned cases
Prepare Operating Rooms and ensure they are case-ready for the following day's cases
Clean, arrange, and transport instruments according to department policy
Requirements
High School GED
Graduate of a NBSTSA-accredited or a NCCT-approved Surgical Technology school/program, surgical/scrub tech training through the military, or a minimum of two years on-the-job training (OJT) surgical/scrub experience at an acute care facility or ambulatory surgery center.
Ability to follow oral instruction, read, and write
Surgical Technician Certification (Preferred)
