Load and Maintain Raw Materials: Keep the looms running smoothly by loading and maintaining the necessary raw materials on reels.
Yarn Knowledge: Learn and understand different yarn types commonly used and their applications in the weaving process.
Machine Operation: Ensure the continuous production of high-quality tape, from the beginning of the weaving process to the final product on the reel, all while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Maintenance Tasks: Check and maintain lube levels in the lubricator, verify proper weaving of weft and lockstitch, program printers for required messages, and monitor fluid levels.
Quality Control: Check and maintain print quality, measurement markings, and appropriately label or tag products processed off the printer.
Mechanical Skills: Develop mechanical aptitude and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety requirements, adhere to policies and procedures outlined in the associate handbook, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Additional Duties: Be flexible to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Adherence to all Safety Measures and Procedures (GMP's, SOP's).
Ability to read measuring instruments and a keen interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs with or without assistance, with occasional bending and staying in a bent-over position.
Flexibility for long shifts, weekends, and nights.
Prior experience in a warehouse setting is required.
Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
Ability to walk and stand on a concrete floor for extended periods.
