About this role
Role Overview
Drive organizational change from manual, siloed activities to an interconnected toolset (Planisware, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.), supporting roadmap prioritization, user-acceptance testing and roll-out of new features that save time and cost.
Maintain the end-to-end portfolio data model and refresh pipeline; build and maintain self-service dashboards in Power BI; provide training and tier-1 support to cross-functional users.
Collect and consolidate portfolio data for monthly KPI reporting; ensure information is current, accurate and aligned with business unit leaders across the sector.
Consolidate the MedTech R&D portfolio. Deliver eNPV, IRR, scenario and capacity models that guide executive investment decisions.
Analyze MedTech competitors, industry trends and internal performance data to craft talking points for various stakeholders.
Up to 10% domestic or international travel may be required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field required
4-6 years of experience in portfolio management, R&D finance, PMO, or strategy within MedTech, Pharma, or healthcare industry required
Advanced Excel, Power Point, and strong Power BI capability required
Proven ability to translate complex analytics into clear, executive-ready narratives required
Excellent storytelling and influencing skills; comfortable interacting with senior leaders
Master’s/MBA, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred
Hands-on experience with Planisware, or similar PPM platforms
Familiarity with Stage-Gate, Agile, and Design-to-Value methodologies
Experience using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools
Experience leading cross-functional change-management initiatives
Knowledge of global medical-device competitive and regulatory landscapes
