Counsel patients on financial assistance over the phone or by email
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments over the phone or by email
Communicate with physicians and clinical staff to assist with scheduling urgent or referred patient scheduling calls/requests
Review schedule for new patients, updating when necessary
Cover patient incoming clinic calls as needed
Perform daily edits and changes to provider scheduling templates
Address in-basket messages, appointments in work queues, and worklists in Epic
Work with Relatient patient reminder system results and contact patients or make scheduling changes
Maintain Handholder matrix
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
Experience in a medical office setting is essential to this position
