Lead the Sales, Customer, and Distribution Data Engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of robust end-to-end data solutions and ML pipelines supporting model delivery, including feature engineering, data preparation, training, testing, and deployment.
Lead and govern the end-to-end productionization of models, including integration with production systems and APIs, with established monitoring and alerting frameworks.
Implement robust data validation, versioning, and governance practices for Sales, Customer and Distribution datasets.
Lead development of analytic data products, including pilots and proof of concepts.
Execute data strategies with an understanding of enterprise architecture, consumption patterns, platforms and application infrastructure.
Manage the operationalizing and automating of all capabilities to ensure secure, supported and scalable solutions.
Present analysis and recommendations to help influence management decisions.
Guide and coach team members to accelerate career development.
Establish team processes and procedures.
Support Business Partners with data, analytics, insights, and models.
Maintain relationships with partner teams to ensure needs are met and impacted areas plan work accordingly.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field or equivalent.
Five or more years of related experience.
3 or more years of management experience.
2 or more years of experience in the insurance industry
3 or more years of experience with AWS Cloud Services & Python
3 or more years of experience with Databricks
2 or more years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and pipeline development
Experience with data governance frameworks
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Advanced knowledge of data tools, techniques, and manipulation including cloud platforms, programming languages, and technology platforms.
