Role Overview
- Operation of CT imaging equipment and post-processing of data
- Handling patients
- Venipuncture
- Use of EPIC
- Call and holiday coverage
- Communicate with patients, physicians, clinics, and other services in the hospital in an effective, professional, and courteous manner.
- Responsible for maintaining their professional license(s), National Registry, and all annual competencies.
- Other duties may be assigned to this position
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology program
- New graduate or less than one (1) year of CT experience
- Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before the start date.
- CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists must be obtained within 12 months of the date of hire
- Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read, and Write
