About this role
Role Overview
- Responsible for decontamination, assembling and inspecting, packaging, testing and sterilizing instruments and/or sets
- Maintain records of loads and items being removed from department for processing
- Transport loads to and from SSD and prepare proper storage for equipment
- Perform routine testing including biological test for steam autoclaves, Sterrad and System 1E
- Assist Operating Room (OR) staff with needed supplies and equipment
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certified Instrument Tech (preferred)
- Work experience as an Instrument Tech (preferred)
- Experience fulfilling orders/requests (packing, assembling & stocking items)
