Ensure clients are compliant with employment law, benefits and record keeping
Maintaining employee records, including new hire set up, I9 validation, all employee changes while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal legislation
Assistance in coordination of benefits enrollments for companies
Track training for all clients assigned
Maintaining and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel
Upholding and enforcing company policies
Creating and revising job descriptions
Performs benefits administration, including change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees
Develops and maintains all governmental reporting, including ACA and Unemployment Insurance
Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
Ensure healthy onboarding and performance management
Overseeing and conducting exit interviews
Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
Practical knowledge of workers comp, FMLA, ADA
Participates in other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or certified HR professional preferred
Military experience a plus
1+ years’ experience in Human Resources required
Competent user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, HubSpot preferred
Experience working in an HRIS system preferred
Strong level of confidentiality
Organized and detail oriented
Analysis and reporting skills a plus
Self-starter with ability to work independently and follow through
