Owning relationships with panel of debt collection agencies and debt purchasers
Identifying strategic opportunities to drive recovery rate
Implementing segmentation for recoveries strategies
Negotiating commission rates and other commercial relationships with suppliers
Operate a strong control environment on: payments and invoicing account statuses live listing placements and closures minimising buybacks and unexpected costs
Identifying opportunities to onboard new and additional suppliers that will add strategic value
Requirements
7+ years’ experience in commercial, portfolio, or collections management within consumer credit, preferably credit cards.
Strong knowledge of FCA consumer credit regulation, including responsible lending, collections, and debt sale practices.
Strong track record with relationship management, with the ability to onboard, communicate, and negotiate with suppliers.
Strong strategic business thinker
Proven expertise in collections and recoveries strategy.
Experience in fintech or fast-growing financial services preferred.
