Presales Engineer

Role Overview

• Provide technical and engineering solutions for Scania vehicles to dealer network, customers, and bodybuilders.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and understand customer requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into practical, compliant, and commercially viable vehicle solutions.
• Ensure vehicle specifications comply with current Type Approval requirements and manage specification deviations.
• Evaluate new product introductions by providing technical and legislative expertise.
• Advise dealers, customers, and bodybuilders on transport engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support to the sales team during customer consultations and negotiations.
• Identify customer-specific technical requirements and develop solutions for non-standard vehicle specifications.
• Prepare and deliver technical product training for internal sales teams and external bodybuilders.
• Act as a key user for sales tools and deliver training to the sales team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Automotive Engineering or another relevant technical field.
• Previous experience in the heavy vehicle industry is preferred; knowledge of commercial vehicles will be considered a strong advantage.
• Very good command of English (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken.
• Proactive, well-organized, and results-driven with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally when required.
