Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment
Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards
Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by machine
Analyze machine problems and take corrective action in timely manner
Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work
Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems
Required to train other operators as needed
Requirements
Grade 12 diploma
Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret production prints
Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work
