Platform Engineering provides the foundation for our next generation banking platform, delivering the runtime environment that abstracts our feature teams from the underlying infrastructure.
You'll help look after the whole platform, spanning many domains and multiple AWS accounts, so there's always a new corner to dig into.
Work on Networking: ingress and egress, DMZ and cluster networking, load balancers, cross-account, cross-region, and cross-VPC networking, and B2B integrations with third parties.
Focus on Security: authentication and authorisation (OAuth, mTLS), IAM and security configuration, service mesh, egress filtering, and HashiCorp Vault.
Manage Data: Aurora PostgreSQL and database performance, Kafka, and caching.
Oversee Platform and infrastructure: Kubernetes on AWS, orchestrated with Terraform, and providing tier 1 grade resilience and 99.99% availability for our customers.
Develop Tooling and CI/CD: Go and Python for our operational tooling, with Jenkins and Concourse CI (plus various code linting and validation tools).
