Role Overview
- Following work instructions to meet job specifications
- Adhering to all safety regulations
- Cleaning and maintaining all equipment
- Measuring to confirm equipment parts meet specifications
- Loading and unloading materials in a safe manner
- Operating various equipment and/or machinery
- Assembly of heavy components using hand and power tools
- Reading blueprints to ensure work is being performed to specifications
- Checking tolerances and dimensions to ensure quality standards are being met
- Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree also welcomed)
- Reliability and strong attendance history
- Ability to learn quickly and take direction from Leads and Supervisors
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Math skills to work with addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
- Desire to be cross trained in different departments and in different skills
- Positive attitude
- Teamwork skills
- Driver’s License highly preferred
