Responsible for mechanical component manufacture assembly and integration into rocket engine and power systems products.
Designing and planning of layout component fabrication, assembly and material handling, planning of sequence of operations, and specification procedures.
Managing processes in accordance with the Lean methodology including process certification and process improvement methods.
Prepare, develop, and defend management key strategic manufacturing plans, risk assessments and proposals.
Develop rework dispositions and work instructions for a variety of components, assemblies, and materials.
Determine tooling requirements to safely support and maintain dimensional requirements.
Develop and implement the process of welding of complex configurations on multiple material types.
Use engineering and business software to monitor hardware design and engineering changes.
Perform risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
A small amount of travel may be required depending on actual assignment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
