Execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines.
Deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation.
Communicate service work timeline and expectations to ensure customer retention.
Identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points while working on-site.
Perform resident field service tasks, preventative maintenance, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which certified to perform.
Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
Act as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.
Requirements
Associate's degree with 5+ years in field service, preventative maintenance, etc… or HS diploma with 7+ year of experience.
Experience working with electrical systems or electronics.
Electrical test equipment (voltmeters, multimeters, etc...)
Troubleshooting up to 240 VAC/870 VDC systems.
Experience with QCS systems is highly preferred.
DCS, PLC and networking experience is nice to have.
Papermaking knowledge is nice to have.
Must be available for on-call 24/7 if needed.
