Patient Access Associate

Role Overview

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assign accurate MRNs, completing medical necessity / compliance checks.
• Provide proper patient instructions and collect insurance information.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls.
• Adhere to policies and provide excellent customer service.
• Responsible for the utilization of quality auditing and reporting systems.
• Conduct audits to ensure accounts are accurate and timely.

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• High School Diploma/GED
• CRCR Required within 9 months of hire (Company Paid)
