Senior Field Technician – Second Shift

Role Overview

• Provide skilled, proactive maintenance and repair support across multiple Fairfield Residential communities
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repairs, and HVAC repairs and maintenance
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively
• Efficiently complete assigned service requests, prioritizing based on urgency and community needs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and inventory tracking
• Prepare units promptly and effectively for new residents
• Adhere strictly to safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC certification required (Type II or EPA Universal)
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license
• Valid driver’s license required
• 3-5+ years multifamily or residential maintenance experience
• Experience with disaster preparedness and response
• Proficient in apartment maintenance with hands-on experience in troubleshooting various systems
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances
• Can work a later normal schedule, but also have the ability to be flexible on scheduling to include weekends and on-call hours
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
