Role Overview
Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
Utilize therapeutic approaches that draw from a variety of disciplines tailored to the needs of the client.
Attend to relational ethics while collaborating with others in the interdisciplinary team and families we serve.
Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
Comply with clinic policies and all state, federal, and licensing board laws/requirements/regulations.
Adhere to and support adherence to organizational standards and policies.
Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
Requirements
You possess a master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
You hold a current and unrestricted license and/or certification that is required to practice within your clinical domain.
You are well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
You are open-minded, desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases, as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve.
You have 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
