Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to provide project and/or task management, technical leadership, and engineering support for a diverse range of water resources projects
Project work may involve hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, dam safety and reservoir systems, stormwater planning and flood control, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications
Lead project teams in planning, coordinating, and executing projects
Ensure project milestones are met and provide regular updates to project team members and clients
Develop and maintain client relationships; develop proposals and perform business development activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering with emphasis on water resources
15 years of related water resources engineering experience with a focus on hydrology and hydraulics
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling approaches and commonly used software
Experience with proposal development, client management, and business development
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Possession of a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future
Helpful additional experience (not required): Master’s degree or PhD in civil or environmental engineering with a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, and/or water quality
