Lead full sell-side processes end-to-end: CIPs, financial models, buyer qualification, management presentations, LOI and purchase agreement negotiation
Build and maintain coverage of LMM-active PE sponsors and strategic acquirers across your target verticals
Partner with EPL leadership on firm strategy, process standards, and platform development
Mentor team members as the practice scales
Requirements
10+ years of investment banking experience with a client acquisition M&A focus
Demonstrated track record originating mandates independently, not solely executing deals sourced by others
Deep sector knowledge in one or more of B2B tech
Ability to guide owners through high-stakes, emotionally complex sale processes with credibility and composure
Autonomous operator: able to manage multiple mandates simultaneously without institutional support infrastructure
Benefits
100% success-fee revenue share (on retainers and success fees). No base salary. Terms negotiated individually based on origination and execution contribution. For a partner closing 3 to 5 transactions annually in this segment, total compensation is commensurate with senior boutique banking.
