Serve as the core supply chain counterpart for electronic engineering teams, translating early concepts, evolving Bills of Materials (BOMs), and mid-design changes into immediate sourcing actions
Oversee the procurement of electronic components, semiconductor parts, PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, RF parts, and custom mechanical prototype pieces, ensuring minimal down-time during design pivots
Provide engineers with real-time insight into component lead times, alternatives, obsolescence risks, and quick-turn manufacturing availability
Partner closely with specialized, small-batch suppliers and quick-turn PCB/PCBA vendors; proactively negotiate accelerated manufacturing slots and expedite shipments under compressed timelines
Coordinate fluidly across engineering, manufacturing, and operations, creating a living view of supply risks across active programs to implement immediate workarounds
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, or a closely related discipline
5+ years of direct experience in electronics sourcing, component procurement, or engineering supply chain roles in fast-moving hardware or prototyping environments
