Generate employee benefit quotes including medical and/or ancillary products such as dental, vision, and life insurance
Collect and review detailed client information such as employee census data, group information, plan preferences, and coverage requirements
Generate competitive quotes for employee benefits products
Customize benefits plans to align with client needs
Communicate with clients, brokers, and sales representatives to gather necessary information and answer inquiries
Work with the sales team, brokers, and account managers to provide support during the proposal process
Recommend process improvements within the quoting workflow/system to enhance efficiency
Stay updated on trends in employee benefits offerings
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous quoting experience as an Associate Rating Analyst, minimum 3 years, or any combination of education and/or experience that would provide an equivalent background in terms of quoting knowledge and experience
Knowledgeable of all employee benefits products such as group health, dental, vision and other ancillary products
Proficient in using quoting software, CRM/Salesforce, Microsoft Office suite, spreadsheets (intermediate/advanced skills), and other relevant tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
