Oversee the management of databases for both new and existing land tenure, agreements, and financial obligation.
Prepare, review, and support the execution of legal documents, including leases, co-use deeds, access agreements, easements and other property-related documentation.
Lead the resolution of outstanding tenure issues, ensuring APA’s tights and interests, such as easements, are fully protected.
Manage lease related activities, including renewals, reviews and termination.
Facilitate clear and timely communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment in property management and land tenure matters.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of land tenure systems and legislation across Australian states.
Proven ability to research, interpret, and apply relevant legislation as needed.
Skilled in preparing and executing legal documents related to land tenure and land use.
Proven experience in building positive relationships with private, corporate, and government landholders and their representatives.
Advanced skills in stakeholder liaison, negotiation, and influencing, with excellent time management and organisational abilities.
Strong commitment to safety, with adherence to safe practices and readiness to travel, including to remote locations.
