Role Overview
- Provides high quality certification services which meets the clients’ needs
- Evaluates products against requirements of the national / international standards
- Manages certification projects ensuring compliance with all applicable safety requirements
- Reviews test data and reports
- Prepares and signs Certification Reports and Certificates of Compliance
- Provides client feedback and support
- Reviews customer test methods and systems
- Authorizes application and/or removal of the CSA Mark
- Keeps Product Group Manager informed of project status
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Likely 3 years of job related experience
- Knowledge of CSA, UL and IEC Standards
- Variety of testing procedures
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational, time, and project management skills
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Technical report writing
- Use of various lab equipment, instruments and tools
