Manage bookkeeping activities in QuickBooks Online (QBO), including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records
Process vendor invoices accurately and on time
Track purchases of raw materials and custom-ordered items associated with customer projects
Maintain organized vendor records and supporting documentation
Manage customer invoices generated through Jobber
Apply incoming customer payments and monitor outstanding balances
Assist with collections and follow up on overdue invoices as needed
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records
Record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure books remain tax-ready
Assist with inventory-related expense tracking and bookkeeping activities
Maintain and update operational trackers and supporting documentation using Google Sheets
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure financial records align with day-to-day business operations
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks Online
Strong experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and general bookkeeping
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets
Experience with Jobber is a plus but not required
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, including AP, AR, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Experience supporting North American home service or contractor businesses is highly preferred
